This is a consultancy mission delivered through Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will operate on-site with our client as Project Manager for regulatory projects in life insurance. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure life insurance products, systems, and processes comply with evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IDD, ESG, AML), acting as a bridge between business, compliance, and IT to deliver compliant, efficient, and customer-centric solutions.

Role Title:

Project Manager Regulatory projects (Senior Business Project Manager)


Mission Goal:

As Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that ensure the companys life insurance products, systems, and processes comply with evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IDD, ESG, AML). You will act as a bridge between business, compliance, and IT teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and customer-centric solutions.


Expected Deliveries:

  • Regulatory impact assessments and implementation roadmaps
  • Updated product specifications and customer documentation
  • Compliant process flows and system configurations
  • Project dashboards, risk logs, and stakeholder reports
  • Post-implementation reviews and lessons learned


Key Responsibilities (executed as a Keystone Solutions consultant):

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects related to life insurance products, systems and processes, from scoping to implementation.
  • Define project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including core business, legal, compliance, actuarial, and IT.

Regulatory Translation & Impact Analysis

  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business and technical requirements.
  • Assess impacts on products, processes, and systems, and propose mitigation strategies.

Product & Process Adaptation

  • Collaborate with product owners to adapt life insurance offerings in line with new regulations.
  • Ensure customer journeys, documentation, and disclosures meet compliance standards and respect guidelines on product oversight and governance (POG)

Risk & Compliance Alignment

  • Liaise with compliance and risk teams to validate project scope and deliverables.
  • Monitor regulatory timelines and ensure timely execution of required changes.

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular updates to senior management and regulatory bodies when needed.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and internal governance committees.


Required Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in project or product management within life insurance or financial services
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products and Belgian/EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., FSMA, NBB, Solvency II, IDD)
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus


Competencies:

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects related to commercial & distribution matters in a Life Insurance context on time and within budget.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into practical solutions / Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Fluent in French (Dutch is a plus), with professional proficiency in English
