Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Subject Matter Expert in Finance. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, working on-site and collaborating with client teams to deliver high-impact results. Responsibilities:

• Act as the right-hand to the Head of Finance, supporting business-as-usual monitoring, process assessment and optimization, and PM Finance development.
• Provide expert support in Reporting, Control, and Consolidation to improve and optimize client performance, delivering and managing comprehensive financial and non-financial management data on a regular basis.
• Be recognized as an authority in your field, offering advice and ad-hoc analysis in specific areas and providing proactive, specialized Finance services to the client’s Finance organization.
• Gather, organize, and update financial and non-financial performance data to assist finance controllers, ensuring data relevance, consistency, and completeness. Participate in targets, budget, and forecast cycles.
• Continuously seek process and tool optimization to improve reporting quality standards and ensure consistency across entities.
• Identify areas of vulnerability and improvement in complex environments, assist management with specific analyses, and advise on performance.
• Apply pragmatic solutions focused on activities and develop the PMO Finance function.
• Act as a change management agent, offering solutions and support to Finance teams, checking results, and adapting advice or services as necessary.
• Analyze and evaluate procedures, processes, and tools/systems to identify problems and propose improvements. Initiate and develop small projects related to Reporting, Control, and Consolidation, and monitor their progress.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in economics or a similar qualification.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in Finance (accounts reporting, control, or consolidation processes).
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
• Strong technical experience in bank accounting, accounting and financial reporting, MS Office (Excel & Access), and project management.
• Preferable experience with IFRS 17.
• Business experience in delivering high-quality work on time and working within diversified procedures and standards in the Finance sector. Preferable experience in the Belgian insurance business.
• Soft skills: accuracy, strong analytical and synthesis skills, team spirit, risk awareness, organizational sensitivity, autonomy, problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.
• Recommended to travel once a month to the Dutch office in Oosterhout.
• Expectation: 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.

Location:

Brussels, with occasional travel to the Netherlands.
