Mission Overview:

Join Keystone Solutions as a Senior .NET Application Architect on a consultancy mission with our client. You will operate within a dynamic IT environment of more than 150 professionals, collaborating with both Dutch- and French-speaking stakeholders. The client's IT organization works in agile mode (scrum methodology), with multidisciplinary development teams. The Enterprise Architecture Team consists of 4 people and is expanding capacity with this role. The client is currently evolving towards a microservices architecture. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will perform all responsibilities and meet all requirements listed below while working closely with the client.

Consultancy Model:

This is a consultancy position through Keystone Solutions. You will work on-site at the client location in Brussels for part of the week and remotely for the remainder, embedding with client teams while benefiting from Keystone Solutions' community, coaching, and career development. You will represent Keystone Solutions' values and quality standards on every engagement while partnering directly with the client's stakeholders and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• As an Application Architect, you guarantee that the architecture of the IT system and landscape continues to evolve.
• You help and support the development teams to deliver quality in line with the objectives of the customer and product management.
• You make the architectural vision understandable and applicable for the teams.
• You clarify the value and operation of models, standards, and patterns, and you support their implementation.
• Concretely, you define the application and integration architecture for a complete rewrite of an important business application in a cloud-based environment.
• You will carry out these responsibilities as a Keystone Solutions consultant working closely with the client in an agile (scrum) setting within a bilingual environment.

Required Experience and Competencies:

• Level: Senior
• Master's degree or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a hands-on Application Architect
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Agile architecture environment (SAFe – Scaled Agile Framework)
• Business knowledge of the social status of the self-employed is an advantage
• These requirements will be performed under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model while working closely with the client.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience as an application architect in a .NET environment with microservices (10 years)
• Setup and use of Azure Cloud computing services, gRPC, Dapr, Azure SQL (5 years)
• Setup and use of container solutions (e.g., Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service) (3 years)
• NServiceBus (2 years)
• Knowledge and use of architecture frameworks and tooling (Domain-Driven Design, event-based architecture, Sparx EA, DrawIO, ...)
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is an advantage

Languages:

• Dutch or French as a native language
• Fluent communication in the other national language (both spoken and written)

Work Regime:

• Hybrid: 2 days on-site at the client in Brussels and 3 days teleworking
